Feature Project
The existing house was a one storey brick bungalow. A family of six required additional space. The design programme involved a complete ground floor renovation including raising the existing floor level to increase the basement height as an alternative to underpinning. A side yard double car garage addition was added and a new second storey addition was built over the whole footprint of the house. The existing brick veneer was removed and new stone veneer was added to the front facade and new brick veneer was added to the rest of the house. A new concrete front porch was added and a rear concrete porch leads to a stone patio below. The construction value of this project is $350,000.
